The beautiful "City of Roses", Portland, Oregon is the third largest city in the Pacific Northwest. It's known as one of the most "eco-friendly" cities in the world, and it's "MAX" light rail transit system provides easy, economical travel for conference attendees.
Portland has a wonderful climate, and is located near the scenic Mount Hood and the Cascade Mountain Range.
The city was called a "dining destination" by the New York Times in 2007, due to its growing restaurant scene. Portland is home to many microbreweries, and the Willamette Valley, nearby, is known for producing world-class wines.
