Why go to the 2010 conference?
The question is not "should I come?", but "can I afford to miss it?"
Travelling to Europe is cheaper then you think
Do you think travelling Europe is expensive? Think twice!
For example, you can travel from NYC to Munich with a direct flight as from 500$ and from San Francisco to Munich under 1000 $. We are currently in negotiation with Star Alliance and hope to offer a rebate program for flights to Munich. Stay tuned; we will publish the information as soon as it is available.

A wealth of experience
Even more then other years, the conference of 2010 will attract many different nationalities. This is your chance to get in touch with what’s happening globally and get insights from usability practicioners from all over the world.
Cultural Diversity is the theme of the conference. With products and technology becoming more and more global, the importance of internationalization is without any doubt growing. What better place to put theory in practice then attending the first European UPA conference? International user interfaces, cross-cultural design and proven techniques for you to take home!
Great networking… of course
By attending you will expand your network and go home with tons of ideas and best practices from projects worldwide. Learn from the 700 experts that will be joining the conference and get your chance to meet the people behind the usability profession. There are endless opportunities to talk to other people that face the exact same challenges as you do.
New Ideas for your work
People are not only talking about what works today, they are also talking about where things are going. You are guaranteed to come away with many things to try, (usually too many to start on right away).
Re-energizing and motivating
Yes, you can be exhausted at the end of a conference, but tapping into the energy, excitement, and enthusiasm of a UPA conference will help lift your spirits and strengthen your passion for the profession.
Being around the top minds in our industry makes you feel like you are getting the inside scoop on things …very motivating.
