Posters Posters provide an opportunity to share late breaking results at the UPA conference. The 1999 conference will include a poster session to focus on work that was completed closer to the conference (and well after our regular conference deadlines have passed). We hope experienced practitioners will use this medium to present new or even incomplete work that suggests promising directions. We also encourage UPA members who have not presented before to use this more informal setting to share their results. Poster submissions must consist of a cover page, a poster description, and a two-page companion paper for inclusion in the conference proceedings, and background information about the poster presenter(s). See the call for participation for a sample poster submission. All submissions must be postmarked, faxed, or e-mailed by March 1, 1999 to Cara Marlin. Poster presentations will take place at a conference session to be announced.
