Susan M. Dray has worked as a practitioner in Human Factors since 1979. Prior to starting a consulting firm, she worked at Honeywell and at American Express Financial Advisors, where she started one of the first usability labs outside the computer industry. Now, as head of Dray and Associates, she consults to companies worldwide on user-centered design and usability. She has done numerous observational studies and has taught these skills at CHI, BCS-HCI, and at companies around the globe.
