This was by far the largest UPA conference ever, as usability gains an ever-broader acceptance in software development and on the web. This year's conference offers a wide variety of information and activities. See the daily schedules for complete listings of events, or use the session finder to locate sessions that fit your specific needs and interests. The conference is organized into four primary tracks:
The conference includes full days on Wednesday, August 16, and Thursday, August 17, as well as a half day on Friday, August 18. In addition, you will find tutorials, and workshops filling Monday, August 14, and Tuesday, August 15. Throughout the week, we've also included a variety of special events. Whatever your interest and experience in usability might be, there's something here for you.
You may register online, or register by fax or mail, whichever suits your needs. You will need to register separately to stay at the conference hotel, the Grove Park Inn Resort. Travel and other information about the conference location, Asheville, North Carolina, is also available.
