| The conference will take place June 27 - July 1, 2005 at
The Fairmont Queen Elizabeth hotel in downtown
Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
The 2005 International UPA Conference invites you to participate in our annual conference: Bridging Cultures. Come together to celebrate usability in the research, design, and testing of hardware, software, documents, and commercial products.
Are you a student and are interested in attending the conference in Montreal? Volunteer for UPA 2005!
The 2004
conference attracted nearly 200 entries from professionals
representing 19 countries, with over 500 usability impassioned
folks in attendance. Don't miss your chance to share your experience
with us this year. You can help:
showcase usability professionals'
work in the field
celebrate the successes
of the field
share the processes and
techniques that make us successful.
challenge our notion of
usability, user centered design and the roles we serve in companies,
industries or institutions.
Content Focus
UPA 2005 invites lessons
or insights related to the conference theme, Bridging
Cultures. It is about understanding your own values and how
values differ in other cultures or even just in other people within
your culture. Once you are able to honor and recognize your differences,
you can begin to act upon the similarities and embrace the diversity
that multi-cultural companies, teams and projects provide. Build
a cultural bridge for your team by recognizing the strength that
diversity provides.
