Think Tank: Corporate home pages deemed 'abysmal' (Computerworld, July
4, 2005)
A Forrester Research Inc report audited the home pages of the 100 biggest
global companies and them abysmal. "The key is to conduct usability
research and analyze clickstream data to figure out what visitors really
want to do when they reach the home page."

IT's Hardest Puzzle (CIO Magazine, July 15, 2005)
"Getting people to use a new system correctly is much harder than
getting it up and running. And much more important....The lesson here
is simple: Success will be—and should be—measured by how well that system
is used." They come close, but don't really mention usability.

Un rapport de "Forrester Research Inc" présente une évaluation
réalisée sur les pages d'accueil des 100 plus grandes companies. Les résultats
sont plutôt catastrophiques. L'objectif est de faire des tests d'utilisabilité
et d'analyser les données de navigation des utilisateurs afin de savoir
ce qu'ils recherchent réellement à partir de la page d'accueil.

"Die Leute dazu zu bringen, ein neues System richtig anzuwenden,
ist viel schwieriger als es zum Laufen zu bringen. Und zudem auch wichtiger.

Home Page delle grandi aziende giudicate "abysmal" (Computerworld,
July 4, 2005)
Un report della Forrester Research ha passato in rassegna le Home Page
di 100 grandi aziende ed ha notato che sono abysmal: "La chiave è
nel condurre delle serie analisi di usabilità
per analizzare i flussi di traffico e derivarne una maggiore comprensione
di cosa stiano cercando i visitatori quando entrano per la prima volta
in una home page".

"Ottenere che un nuovo sistema venga usato correttamente è molto
più difficile di metterlo in funzionamento. Ed è anche molto più importante....
Si tratta di una lezione semplice: il successo di un sistema sarà - e
dovrebbe essere - misurato in base a come viene usato". Un concetto
molto familiare per l'usabilità, anche se il termine non viene espressamente
utilizzato.
