UPA’s first international chapter—Linköping , Sweden—celebrate its first birthday on December 28, 2000. The Linköping chapter now has 35 members, representing eight local companies and one university. The Linköping chapter web site can be found at http://hem.passagen.se/linkopingupa/

In addition to monthly meetings, chapter members have enjoyed presentations from Michael Muller of Lotus Development Corporation and Stefan Holmlid of Linköping University, toured Ericsson’s usability lab and taken a tutorial on task analysis.

Chapter meetings are relaxed and informal. The idea is to combine business and pleasure–to learn while having fun. UPA members visiting Linköping are invited to attend a chapter meeting.
