New Experienced Practitioners Track at UPA 2006!By DeeDee DeMulling and Carol J. Smith Delight 'DeeDee' DeMulling, Co-Chair of UPA 2006, is a product researcher and designer for Prodex Consulting in the Minneapolis, MN area. Carol J. Smith, Co-Chair of UPA 2006, is a User Experience Consultant for Accenture in the Washington, DC area. Join other usability practitioners for an intense day of learning and sharing on Tuesday, June 13, 2006 in beautiful Colorado. The day will include five sessions that are geared for practitioners with at least 5-10 years of experience and who desire a deeper level of understanding and discussion. We will ensure a manageable group size by limiting this event to 40 participants. There have been requests for a number of years that UPA have a forum for experienced practitioners and this program should prove to be very interesting to a variety of conference attendees. During this special day you'll have an opportunity to spend time with colleagues as well as interact with the speakers. The fee for attending the full-day Experienced Practitioners' Track is $150. Attendees can choose to attend any/all of the sessions. The Experienced Practitioners' track includes lunch, snacks, and ample opportunities for networking. Attendees will also have a chance to provide feedback on the Experienced Practitioner's track and provide ideas on its evolution for future UPA conferences.
