Boston Chapter
Has First Meetings

The Boston chapter of UPA had its first meeting on March 14, 2001. Tom Tullis of Fidelity Investment's Human Interface Design Group kindly played host and provided tours of Fidelity's impressive facilities. With 30 people in attendance, the chapter had no trouble getting its petition signed.

The second meeting (the first as an official UPA chapter), was April 25 at Kana Communications. Merryl Gross hosted. At this meeting the discussion centered around how people use technology, where technology has helped people and where it has gotten in the way.
