UPA Web Site
As announced at the UPA 2001 conference, we are pleased to have awarded a
contract to Carol Righi and Janice James for the redesign of the UPA web site.
Both of these individuals have been involved in producing usable interfaces for
over 15 years and both have long-standing commitments to helping to make UPA
the best it can be. They have already begun work by collecting data on the
characteristics and demographics of our web site’s users. We need volunteers to
act in the role of users, because we want to follow a user-centered process in
our redesign. Please volunteer now by sending a message to
redesign@upassoc.org.
The
redesign team is planning many user feedback activities to help drive the
design of the site, including card sorts, surveys, and remote usability tests.
You can keep up with the redesign and contribute your ideas at

like to contribute to the Sightings, send your links and comments to Whitney
Quesenbery: whitneyq@cognetics.com.

information is available.
