Are the dates and location for the next conference available yet? I’m trying to plan out funding and schedules and wanted to check on dates and location (Washington, DC area as I recall). Thanks, Chauncey

We actually are planning two conference for 2013: one in D.C., in conjunction with the DC Metro chapter, and one in Shanghai, in conjunction with the China chapter. Exact dates have not been set, but it will likely be late Spring for DC, and early November for Shanghai.

Almost! Registration will open this month and we’ll have the schedule up by then. We’re hoping to have it up in the next few weeks, so check back!
Okay. You provided the location for the U.S. conference. Can you also provide the dates?

We don’t yet know the dates for the DC event. We are currently working to secure a venue in DC. As soon as we have a property contracted we will announce the dates and venue.
While we could announce a target date, remaining flexible allows us to be selective and hopefully achieve the best balance of property and timing. In addition, we are working together with UXPA DC to choose a date that will work well for both the UserFocus (typically held in the fall) and UXPA International (typically held in the late spring) audience. It’s but one of the many new things to figure out as we evolve our model for partnering the international conference with chapter and regional events.
