Its not just the web that is evolving - consumers are evolving. Consumers today know more, do more, and expect more from their interactions on the web and they expect different things. We present updated and extended findings from our online health survey (Crawford & Straub, 2007) exploring trust triggers and online behavior in consumer health information searches. We will also discuss how our findings can be placed in a broader context. What can practitioners do to meet the ever changing needs and expectations of consumers?
