Investigating Age-Related Differences in Web Site Usability Testing Performance by Using Eye tracking

Young and older adults performed Internet tasks while eye movements were recorded. Older adults took longer to look at peripheral items and did not look at them as often as young adults did. There was a large difference in performance between the groups for peripheral items, but not for central.
