Culture is critical to success - Designing Cancer.gov en Español to dispel myths and leverage cultural beliefs for a diverse U.S. Latino population

A case study on why it requires a multi-disciplinary team and multiple methods to ensure that Latinos’ cancer needs are successfully addressed.

This case study presents research methods, findings, and challenges in creating a successful culturally appropriate website for U.S. Latinos. A multidisciplinary approach and multiple methods will be explored. Experienced attendees will learn unique cultural considerations; all will take away concrete cross-cultural design tips.
