How to use photographs to improve the user experience

You will learn what makes a photograph usable and how you can influence better image selection during the user centered design process.

Photos are critical to great user experiences but are rarely discussed in usability terms. In this session I will identify the qualities of usable photographs, showing examples from the best of the web. Attendees will learn practical methods to select and evaluate more usable photos for the experiences they design.
