Are We Usable? The State of User Experience around the World

Discuss and debate the state of the UX field, and whether the rest of the world is doing anything about it.

The goal of this panel is to take a step back and look at the state of our profession, and assess the impact we have had on a global scale. Obviously, there is no right or wrong answer or metric that reflects the state of the user experience around the world or what we have accomplished. However, it gives us a chance to discuss and debate the current state of the user experience, across technologies, geographies and types of users. And, perhaps more importantly, it gives us a chance to think about the direction of our profession, and how we can be more effective moving forward.

Panel by Bill Albert (Bentley University), Elizabeth Rosenzweig (Bentley University), Mercedes Sanchez (Mercedes Sanchez Usabilidade e Pesquisa), Javier Darriba (Xperience Consulting), Dan Szuc (Apogee Consulting), Susan Wolfe (Optimal Experience)
