The Babble Ratio and Other Observations from Usability Testing Assessments

A discussion for experienced usability testing moderators of common errors in usability testing and how to avoid them.

Experienced usability professionals make many serious mistakes in their moderation of usability testing. In a Quality Assurance study, six of seven moderators from professional usability agencies got several serious or critical notes on their adherence to standard procedures for usability testing. The paper discusses approach and key findings.
