Contextual Card Sorting (or FirstClick Testing): A New Methodology for Validating Information Architectures
Usability methodologies for organizing information on a website have traditionally failed to address the contextual elements of a website which provide an essential framework for the user. Contextual card sorting (more commonly called ‘FirstClick’ testing) is a new methodology that aims to address these shortcomings and provide quantitative data to measure the effectiveness of a website’s organization.
